I don’t love labels and although they are necessary, here’s my favorite way to explain what I do:
“I do what I want”.
If I want to make art, I make art, I want to write a book, I write a book. I want to go for a hike, run, concert, or nap – that is what I do. I also love helping people and supporting them with their dreams, goals, and creative work.
For a long time, people told me that I couldn’t have the cake and eat it too – meaning that I had to get a college degree, work a job until retirement and then wait for life to be over. All I knew though is that isn’t how I wanted my life to be because it sounded lame. I didn’t live through foster care and land in a new country to just allow my past to continuously control my life. And when my son was then diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder and faced death in the process of barely making it out of three liver transplant surgery, I knew I could no longer live life according to everyone else’s rules and had to create my own.
Since that time I came out as Bi-gender – some may call this non-binary but that doesn’t feel aligned with me. Bigender is simply identifying as having two gender identities and for me, that is male and female. While I am female representing, I do not identify as female most of the time. And I am also bi-sexual and therefore absolutely put that B into the LGBTQIA community.
I am also not religious and have a strong viewpoint in that everyone has a right to believe in what they want to believe but that does not mean you get to tell me what to believe. PERIOD.
I was diagnosed with dyslexia at 6 or 7 and as I am also an autistic mom, people tell us we are twins (not just in looks but also behavior) I realized I am also Neuro-divergent and now my life makes so much more sense.
People love me for my
- down-to-earth personality
- no BS approach to life and business
- personalized creative solutions
- real-life experience
- my obsession with coffee and that my birthday falls on National Coffee Day
- Come hang out and let’s get to know each other!
Consider me your secret weapon to cheer you on, support you
and call you out on your bullshit excuses!
