Quarterly Goals for June 2023 Review

Posted on June 1, 2023July 13, 2023 by Petra

It’s that time again when I review and update the quarterly goals for June 2023. And I there have been some changes.

I’ve been focusing on my health this year by changing my eating habits and being active on the trails.

But let’s dive and see where I am at.

HEALTH

  • Walk 3 to 6 miles a day – I am officially at 524 miles for the year and will need to get close to 7 miles a day to reach 2023 miles. I see a few rides on my bike to help. During my cycle for the month, I completely bottom out and find it difficult to get back in the rhythm.
  • Hike every other week – I live by the Blue Ridge Parkway with plenty of trails to choose from! I’ve done 4 long hikes – long for me means over 6 miles and they all were near the 10 miles more or less.
  • Annual Physical – since I just had one this will be in December.
  • Change diet – we are now a low-carb family around here. Due to my partner’s dietary needs and me realizing that bread, pasta, and rice are not doing me any favors we are learning to recook. I am down 10 pounds and seem to have hit a plateau as I still have about 10 more to go. But I’ll get that sorted somehow.

CREATIVITY

Below are the goals I have but haven’t been able to focus on them too much as I have increased my events this year and will need to ensure I have inventory. I am sorting out a new schedule to be able to do all things.

  • Create 2 new Wood-Burning Tutorials a month
  • Work on Guitar Cut out Wood-Burning that will be a special gift
  • Use my laser to supplement income as well as for my own creative inspiration
  • Create 2 Crochet Patterns a month
  • Make art that excites me and brings me joy – currently recreating Brother Grimm Stories in pyrography.

FAMILY

This is ongoing as well.

  • Get wills done
  • Find a notary for Power of Attorney
  • Spend time with kids and grandkids
  • Go on vacation with chosen family – see vacation + travel goals
  • Visit my son and his partner

HOUSE

This is an ongoing process and I don’t have much of an update here.

  • Declutter things we don’t need or use – this is an ongoing process
  • Renovate each room
    • Bathrooms (2)
    • Bedrooms (3)
    • Kitchen
    • Living Room
    • Dining Room
  • Paint House Exterior
  • Clean up property – prep to be rented out
  • Search and find a home with acreage

PHILANTHROPY

I will have a specific month where I will be donating a % of my art sales. Every card transaction that comes through, a % now goes to a special folder so that at the end of the month, I can then donate.

  • Donate Animal Art to Wildlife Center for Auction
  • Donate to Urea Cycle Foundation
  • Donate to the Trevor Project

MONEY

This is an ongoing process and I don’t have much of an update here.

  • Increase net worth to $X
  • Set up Profit First – in progress
  • Reduce Debt

TRAVEL + ADVENTURES

This is an ongoing process and I don’t have much of an update here.

  • Camping in South Carolina with chosen family
  • Camping for my friend’s vow renewal in North Carolina
  • Road Trip with my partner
  • Earthday Birthday Festival in Florida we did it.

BUSINESS GOALS

I am going through some changes in business and life as I’ve mentioned above.

  • Get clear on what I really want to focus on when it comes to coaching/problem-solving
  • Declutter projects started and decide on what to do with them
  • Write 4 books this year – I really need to sit down and start
  • Sign up as a Vendor at Markets + Festivals to sell Art
  • Kick-off Around the Coffee Pot where I answer questions and share in-depth how-to’s.
  • Teach crochet and wood-burning by recording content for it. I want to take some time and explore what that will look like.
  • Launch the Self-Reflection Society
  • Update learning resources that I have here
  • Make a decision on the Podcast situation –still undecided here. Just not feeling it though.
  • The income goal is $6500/month combined from all sources
  • Launched 90 Days of Creativity and My Rebel Year – both membership programs,
  • Rebrand with a new name as my partner is joining me with all things art – Smoky Wood Studios

Well, this is where we are now with our quarterly goals for June 2023. I will need to take some time to ponder a few things and make a plan and stick to it. My goal is to do 2-3 hours of admin work in the morning and then focus on art. It sounds doable and I need to figure out the resistance here.

If you have some goals you’d like to achieve and want some help, I have a few spots of accountability coaching available.
